New York: Arrival of Threads has really posed a challenge to the Elon Musk’s Twitter which brought to fore his rivalry with Zukerberg.

Threads made huge impact with its burgeoning fresh signups that crossed millions in a few days since release.

Reports say that more than 100 million have joined the platform setting a record of sorts.

The massive reception the platform gained helped Zuckerbeg shore up his reputation dented by bad press and scandal, according to news agency AFP.

His soaring image has to do largely with ‘ unpredictable behaviour of Elon Musk’and Tesla chief has sued Zuckerberg over the new app Threads.

‘It's definitely unique to see two people, who obviously are just ungodly wealthy, be in this kind of grudge match,’ AFP quoted Andrew Selepak, who is an assistant media professor at the University of Florida, as saying.

Hours after the release of Threads, Zuckerberg visited Twitter for the first time in years to post a meme of Spider-Man pointing at another, which was interpreted as he was acknowledging he had copied Twitter.

Zuckerberg has reportedly ignored Musk’s provocations however he offered to meet him for a’ bare-knuckled cage fight’.

The 39-year-old Zuckerberg reportedly projects an image of calmer person.

Nevertheless changes in public perception of Zuckerberg, many forget the Cambridge Analytica scandal and his summoning before US lawmakers to defend his company’s actions during the 2016 US election, according to the report.

Along with this fades the memories of firing of ‘ thousands’ of staffers from his company, the report said.

It is concluded that Musk’s ‘ antics’ helped Zuckerberg largely sending a positive vibes around.
