Will turn Kerala into a 'global Yoga centre': CM Pinarayi Vijayan

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that the government would try to make Kerala an international yoga centre by providing high-quality infrastructure. He was inaugurating a workshop titled 'Yoga Jeevitha Shasthrathil' organized by the International Yoga Research Foundation, headed by yoga guru Shri M, in collaboration with Rajiv Gandhi Center for Biotechnology and Regional Cancer Centre.
The Chief Minister said that the work done by Shri M for the potential of Yoga is exemplary. The Chief Minister also released the book 'Yoga Niriswarakum' written by Shri M. Former Chief Secretary VP Joy was present.
Shri M presented the Chief Minister with a memento on the occasion. Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Biotechnology Director Prof. Chandrabhas Narayana, RCC Director Rekha Nair and Kavita Narayanan were also present.
