G20 Summit kicks off in Riyadh

G20 Summit of 2020 kicked off here in Saudi Arabia's capital city, Riyadh, on Saturday evening. Two-day long summit highlighting the theme of "realizing opportunities of the 21st century "is being held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The summit will be curtailed down on tomorrow.

"We have a duty to raise the challenge together during this summit"- Saudi ruler King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz said in his opening remarks to the summit. He also added that we are responsible to "give a strong message of hope and reassurance to our people through adopting policies to mitigate crisis". King Salman expressed his hope that the summit will deliver significant results.

G20 meeting of 2020 is being keenly watched by world countries as the summit whether to adopt any policies regarding Covid vaccine or announce financial supports.
