Global COVID-19 caseload crosses 172.4 million

Global COVID-19 caseload crosses 172.4 million

According to the John Hopkins University, the overall global Covid-19 caseload has crossed 172.4 million while Covid deaths have crossed 3.70 million.

While the global caseload currently stands at 172,449,514, the covid death toll stands at 3,708,248.

As per the University's Centre for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE), the US continues to be the worst hit by Covid-19 with 33,342,974 cases and 596,999 covid deaths. India follows second in caseload with 28,574,350 cases. However, in terms of deaths, Brazil comes second with 470,842 fatalities while India follows third with 340,702 covid deaths.
