Sydney Hindu temple vandalism: 2 images released for lead on accused

Sydney: The New South Wales (NSW) police of Australia published the images of vandals who damaged the BAPS Swaminarayan temple here a week ago. The Police expect lead from the public to nab the accused, Asian News International reported citing Australia Today.
Detectives investigating the vandalism of a temple in Rosehill last week are hoping the release of images will generate help from the public.

On May 5, the temple authorities from Rosehill of Western Sydney informed about the problematic graffiti on the temple’s front wall and a ‘Khalistan flag’ hanging on its gate.
Police, post initial probe, stated that the vandalism occurred between 1 am and 2 am on the early morning of May 5. Police released an image of a vehicle which was shuttling Virginia Street toward James Ruse Drive, Rosehill, in the wee hours of Friday, May 5th, morning. Police believe that passengers of the said vehicle would have some idea or dashcam footage for a lead into the matter.
Also, the Police hope that people in the neighbourhood could provide some info on the suspects or the vehicle mentioned.
Another image the Police released features a man wearing dark clothes, a beanie and a mask. The person was seen near the temple at the same time as the vehicle. No connection between the person with the car has been established.

There were multiple temple vandalism reports by pro-Khalistanis in the last two months in Australia’s Melbourne and Brisbane. Post a manhunt was initiated against the pro-Khalistan radicalise Amritpal Singh, there were multiple attempts to vandalise temples and Indian diplo, attic installations in the US and Canada too.
