A Twitter account with the handle @DJTDesk was suspended by the tech company citing violation of Rules. The profile came with the bio "Posts copied from Save America on behalf of the 45th POTUS; Originally composed via https://DonaldJTrump.com/Desk. *Note: Not Donald J. Trump Tweeting." The account tried to post content from the former president's new blog, where he released short, tweet-like statements.
A Twitter spokesperson clarified that any account that attempts to promote another suspended account's contents would also face action. Twitter had suspended Trump's account earlier this year on the 8th of January, following attempts to incite violence at the attack on the US capitol by Republican extremists. Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube had also barred Donald Trump following the incident.
