Munich: Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky urged the country's allies to "hurry up" with their support for the country against the Russian invasion. He said we need to speed up agreements, decisions, and delivery.

"We need to hurry up. We need speed - the speed of our agreements, the speed of our delivery... the speed of decisions to limit Russian potential. There is no alternative to speed because it is the speed that life depends on." He was speaking at the Munich Security Conference on Friday via video link. "Delay has always been and still is a mistake. There is no alternative to Ukrainian victory. No alternative to Ukraine in the EU. No alternative to Ukraine in NATO," he added.

He also warned the allies that Russia may repay Iran for the drones it has delivered with weapons-grade enriched uranium.

He said Ukraine still hasn't received the "David's Sling" from Israel to use "against Goliath" but believes that it is only a matter of time before the Israeli government sends it. On Thursday, Zelensku met with Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen in Kyiv. The "David's Sling" is an Israeli-made air defense system. Ukraine with the support of the US has repeatedly asked for it but Israel continues to reject the requests. Israel thinks such a move can create tension with Russia and harm its interests in Syria.

In an interview with the BBC, he said there is no dialogue with Putin because there is no trust. "Today, our survival is our unity. I believe Ukraine is fighting for its survival. We chose this path. We want security guarantees. Any territorial compromises would make us weaker as a state. It's not about compromise itself. Why would we be afraid of that? We have millions of compromises in life every day," said the president.
