Washington: Hilary Clinton said on Tuesday that she would not run for the United State's President post again. The former US Secretary of State had run for the post in 2008 and 2016, failing both times, Asian News International reported.

Speaking to a news channel, she said though she won't run for President, she will do everything she can to make sure that the US have a president who respects the country's democracy, the rule of law and institutions.

The channel asked if she would attempt if Donald Trump ran for the post again. Then she responded that Trump would not fit into that category and he should be defeated if he runs again.

In the 2016 presidential polls, Trump defeated Hilary Clinton. In that year's poll cycle, Clinton got hit by the scandal that she had a private email server while holding the office of Secretary of the State. The issue had initiated a long FBI investigation, according to Fox News

Meanwhile, The Hill reported that Trump is all set to run for President in 2024, and he has a fair chance to grab a Republican nomination.

However, Clinton added that she would endorse Joe Biden, current President of the US if he runs for the post again.

According to her, Biden beat Trump to make a landslide victory in the popular vote, which "says a lot".

Later, she brushed off the comparisons between her using a private email server while serving as Secretary of State and the recent discovery of classified materials at Donald Trump's Florida home, calling both extremely different from one another.
