'Kurup' movie release date announced, theatre release on the cards

After months of uncertainty and rumours of a direct OTT release, the makers of Dulquer Salman starrer 'Kurup' have finally announced that the movie will be released on May 28 in five languages.
The film is one of Dulquer's biggest ventures to date with an estimated budget of around 35 crores and is based on the real-life story of fugitive and murderer Sukumaran Kurup. The film is produced by Dulquer's own 'Wayfarer Films' company.
Shobita Dhulipalia will star alongside Dulquer, with Nimish Ravi as the cinematographer and Sushin Shyam at the helm of music direction. Bangalan, winner of the National Award for Best Production Design in 'Kammara Sambhavam' is the production designer of the film while the National- Award winner, Vivek Harshan is in charge of editing.
Dulquer also has a big lineup in 2021 as the lead in four films in four different languages.
