New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan had hard time explaining his character in the upcoming movie to former footballer Wayne Rooney.
Both the stars were warming up to each other during the finale match between Argentina and France in Qatar when Wayne Rooney shot the question—"who is Pathaan?"
Rooney jovially asked Khan with oodles of curiosity on his face, "Is he similar to anyone in football?"
Perhaps nothing is harder for an actor than summing the character in so many words without spilling much on story line.
Shah Rukh Khan managed the question replying "I'm not saying this because you are here. Honestly I will tell you who Pathaan is. Pathaan is the guy you call last minute when you are all tied up and you can't find a solution." NDTV reported.
Khan cloyingly said if Pathaan was to be equated to any footballer in the world, before or after or later, it would always be Rooney and added, "You are the tough guy".
The interaction between football star and Bollywood king sparked comments on Twitter with many excitingly adoring them. One user reportedly called Khan ' King of the world", while others flooding fire emoticons.
Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan, co-starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, will the theatres on January 25.
