New Delhi: The mother and two daughters found dead in Delhi's 'triple suicide' had seemingly planned everything to the hilt.

They were concerned about people, entering the room to find their bodies, getting harmed by the deadly gases in the room.

The mother and two daughters left behind what the police believe a suicide note warning people against carelessly entering the apartment in Vasant Apartment Society in Vasant Vihar area.

The bodies of the 54-year-old woman named Manju and her two daughters —Anshika (27) and Anku (25)—, were found on the bed in the inner room.

The police found a note which read "Too much deadly gas (Carbon monoxide), Please ventilate the room by opening the window, do not light matches or lighters after opening the door, the room is filled with hazardous gas."

Three women died on Saturday night, reportedly after inhaling inhaling toxic fumes, which according to the police was of "suffocation".

On Saturday at 8.55 pm, police were alerted that flat number 207 of Vasant Apartment in Vasant Vihar was locked from inside and the family inside were not responding.

Delhi Police broke the door open and found three dead bodies in the inner room and also, they found a gas cylinder was partially opened.

The police said the father had died in April 2021 of Covid and since then the family was in depression. The wife, Manju, was bed-ridden due to illness.

The bodies were taken for post-mortem. Further investigation is underway.
