On behalf of the All India Muslim Majlis-e- Mushawarat- the confederation of Muslim organisations in India-national president Navaid Hamid appealed to join and support struggle of farmers and 'Bharat Bandh'.

The organization alleged that the establishment is only working for the development of few tycoons of the country; they do everything in influence with these organizations.

It also says that at one hand government says that proposed law will not be taken back and at the other hand they extends conversation with farmers which is absolutely just to hype the issue.

Majlis demanded that Minimum Support Price (MSP) proposed by farmers should be taken into consideration so that hard work of farmers can be paid with adequate amount.

Navaid Hamid, national president of Mushawarat told Madhyamam, "We are aware that number of farmers association has given a call for Bharat Band on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 to demand repeal of Anti farmer's law enacted by union Government to benefit corporate farming. It is rightly feared that enacted laws would open avenues for hoardings of food grains and vegetables. It would not only invite distress to sell crops on lower prices to corporate houses but will also bring burden on poor with increased price of commodities".

"Lakhs of farmers are agitating on roads and sitting under open sky in chilling winter, it is our paramount duty to participate in farmer's proposed 'Bharat band' to express our sympathy and support to ongoing farmers protest" he further said.
