Kozhikode: Air Customs Intelligence officials Thursday seized 30 gold biscuits worth Rs 95 lakh from a passenger who arrived from Abu Dhabi at nearby Karipur airport.
The gold biscuits, weighing about 3.5 kgs, were found concealed in an emergency lamp in the baggage of Safvan Thayyil, who arrived by an Air Etihad flight, airport officials said.
Safvan, hailing from Thaliparamba in Kannur district, has been arrested, they said.
