Kozhikode: KPCC president V.M Sudheeran Saturday toughened his stand on JSS leader Rajan Babu, saying there won’t have any place in the UDF for those who acted against its policies.
“The UDF has its own policies and decisions. There won’t have any place in the UDF for those who are acting against its policies,” Sudheeran told reporters.
“All the coalition partners in the UDF are united,” he added.
Meanwhile, Rajan Babu said there was a lapse on his part by accompanying Vellapally.
"I should not have accompanied Vellapally. There was a lapse on my part in doing so. I don’t have any relation with Vellapally’s newly formed party," he said.
He also said he would not take any stand against the UDF, adding that “we will continue in the ruling front”
Janadhipathya Samrakshana Samithi (JSS) leader Rajan Babu accompanying SNDP Yogam chief Vellappally Natesan to Aluva police station to record the Ezhava leader’s arrest for an alleged hate speech had triggered a political controversy with state Congress chief V M Sudheeran taking exception to it.
Chief Minister Oommen Chandy had said that the act of Rajan Babu hobnobbing with SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellapally Natesan recently was against the stand of the ruling front.
