Wayanad Collector files complaint against cyber attack

Kozhikode: Wayanad district collector Adeela Abdulla on Thursday told media that had faced slur on social media and filed complaint against it.
The collector faced alleged social media attack after she accepted pro-Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) pamphlet from BJP workers.
As well as BJP workers attempts to misuse the photograph, those who opposed CAA made defamatory comments against her on social media, she said.
Some of the comments were highly defamatory in nature, insulting womanhood.
When asked about her position on CAA, she said being a responsible bureaucrat she wouldn’t like to make comments on CAA.
BJP workers visited her days ago part of their door-to-door campaign in favour of CAA, and took photographs of handing her the pamphlet, which was later posted on social media
