Annual FII forum; Global business leaders meet in Riyadh

Riyadh: For the sixth annual Future Investment Initiative meeting, which starts on Tuesday, more than 6,000 corporate leaders, officials, investors, and entrepreneurs from around the world have gathered in Riyadh.

The three-day conference's subject is Investing in Humanity: Enabling a New Global Order. Its main pillars are equality for an unequal world, balancing success with sustainability, and the rise of geo-economics. It will also put special emphasis on robotics and artificial intelligence, as well as on sustainability, education, and healthcare.

Participants will talk about energy and its place in a sustainable future, how to make a smooth transition from dangerous fossil fuels to eco-friendly substitutes, and how investment and financing play a part in this, Arab News reported.

With the growth of innovation and the digital world, technology will also be one of the forum's primary foundations. Participants will talk about the role and development of the film business as well as how augmented reality, virtual reality, and the metaverse are accelerating digital transformation.

The future will be shaped by a variety of industries, thus gaming, health, and education technologies are also on the table. Participants will continue the discourse about the importance of investing in sustainability on the final day of the event.
