Mumbai: Actress Sai Pallavi, who is known for her versatile work in Maari 2, Fidaa, Gargi and Shyam Singha Roy, is all set to make her foray in Hindi cinema, alongside Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan, which will be reportedly made as a love story.

This will be Junaid’s second project after his much awaited debut with a Yash Raj film.

While Aamir has taken a break after the box-office debacle of his last film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, his son is gearing up for his big Bollywood debut in a film under the banner of Yash Raj Films, as per Track Tollywood.

“The preparation of Junaid’s untitled next has started. Sai Pallavi apparently will be the leading lady in the film. This will be Junaid’s next project, after his YRF debut film. A Sunil Pandey directorial, the film is touted to be a love story," reported Bollywood Hungama.

For YRF, it has been a successful year at the box-office with the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer ‘Pathaan’ in theatres and ‘The Romantics’ on the OTT.

With an impressive set of films in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam, Sai Pallavi is the recipient of numerous accolades, including four Filmfare Awards South and two South Indian International Movie Awards.

She was featured by Forbes magazine as one of India's 30 under 30 in 2020.

Junaid made his debut as a theatre actor in director Quasar Thakore Padamsee’s adaptation of Bertolt Brecht’s ‘Mother Courage and Her Children’, a biting satire on the absurdity of war, according to Bollywood Hungama.

The actor, who has taken two years of training in theatre at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in LA, had also been an assistant director on PK.

Earlier it was reported that Junaid Khan is rumoured to have been signed for the Hindi remake of the Tamil hit film Love Today. The official announcement is awaited. Apart from Junaid, the film will also feature Boney Kapoor’s younger daughter Khushi Kapoor and will be produced by Phantom Studios.

A 2022 Tamil romantic comedy-drama written and directed by Pradeep Ranganathan, Love Today, stars Pradeep Ranganathan, along with Ivana, Raveena Ravi, Yogi Babu, Sathyaraj, and Raadhika Sarathkumar in lead roles.

The movie received widespread critical acclaim from critics and audiences and was a huge commercial success at the box office.
